SHOW UP
at City Hall at 9:00am on Tuesday, March13th

Next Tuesday, March 13th the Venice City Council will vote on a human rights ordinance that, if passed, will finally protect Venice's LGBT community from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations. We're expecting broad support for the ordinance but the Venice City Council needs to hear from you!

Equality Florida and our partners in Venice have worked for over a year on these protections and we need you now for the final stretch.

Not only is equal protection the right thing to do, economically it is the smart thing to do. Major employers in Venice have adopted these protections because they know such policies draw the best and the brightest applicants and help companies retain their best employees.

We all want Venice to set the standard as a welcoming and inclusive place to live, work and visit.

Join the fight and forward this to your circle of friends.

SEND A NOTE Click here and send a personal note to the Venice City Council. Thank them for their commitment to passing an inclusive human rights ordinance and let them know how much their support means to you and your family.

SHOW UP Please arrive, in your best red shirt, at City Hall a little before 9:00am on Tuesday March 13th. We hope the hearing on the HRO will be at the beginning of the meeitng and we want the room packed with support.
