TAKE ACTION: Tell Governor Rick Scott to protect LGBTQ people now!

HELP US #HONORTHEMWITHACTION -- CALL GOVERNOR SCOTT TODAY!

After the Pulse massacre, we asked Governor Scott to issue an Executive Order protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination -- and WE NEED YOU to call him right away and urge him to honor the victims of Pulse by taking action now.

We hoped Gov. Scott would finally take action to protect the LGBTQ community from discrimination after the worst mass shooting in our history, but he has failed to do so.

It took him far too long to acknowledge that the Pulse massacre was an attack on LGBTQ and Latinx people -- and he has yet to take action to provide even the most basic protections for LGBTQ state employees through an Executive Order. We must hold him accountable.MAKE A PHONE CALL NOW and demand Governor Scott denounce anti-LGBTQ discrimination and issue an Executive Order to protect LGBTQ people.

“Hi my name is ______, and I am calling to urge Governor Rick Scott to issue an Executive Order protecting LGBTQ people. The one-year mark of the Pulse Massacre is coming up on Monday, and many asked the Governor to issue an executive order protecting LGBTQ state employees then. Governor Scott has NOT taken ANY action to protect the LGBTQ community since and I am urging him to do so right away - to honor the 49 people killed at Pulse and to send a message that Florida is a place that does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.”
