Last day to register for primaries
Today is the last day to register to vote for the upcoming August 24 primaries.
Primaries are not only important because they decide who moves on to the general election on Nov. 2, but some key races are actually decided on primary day. The best way to make sure your voice is heard is to vote and vote often!
Florida has a closed primary system which means registered Democrats may only vote for Democrats, and Republicans may vote only for Republicans. No Party Alliliation (NPA) or "Independents" can only vote for non-partisan races.
